          Praying (resource from 孤鳥) resource from 孤鳥 I came across a very good article (author unknown, however, if you happened to know who wrote this, please let me know because we do want to give the credit to the author) about praying to God; here to share with you. “I asked God to take away my habit. 租房子God said , No. It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up. I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. God said, No. God said, his spirit is whole, his body is only temporary. I asked God to grant me patience. God said, No. Patience is a byproduct of 長灘島 tribulations; It isn’t granted, it is learned. I asked God to give me happiness. God said, No. I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you. I asked God to spare me pain. God said, No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares; And brings you closer to me. I asked God to make my 個人信貸 spirit grow. God said, No. You must grow on your own! But I will prune you to make you fruitful. I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life. God said, No. I will give you life, So that you may enjoy all things. I asked God to help me Love others, as much as He loves me. God said, Ahhhh.., fin 好房網ally you have the idea.” You might think God seems saying “no” too much; well, to me, His is the almighty God, He does have the power and rights to say anything as He pleases. Because if not, then I would not think He is the God. However, I also have the faith in Him that whatever He decides has His own reason; whethe 面膜r His answer is “Go”, “Stop” or “Wait”, He knows the best. The Bible has said that “…You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” (James: 4: 2-3) Therefore, before we ask God for something, we might need to exa 帛琉m our own hearts first. I am not saying that I understand fully about what’s God’s Will for me yet, but I do know He does create me with a special purpose.
